The denial of early arrival check in even though rooms were available. How is that a good policy? The portions of food in the specialty restaurants were too small.

Variety of entertainment, spacious, outdoorsy, open. The rooms had everything needed it. Room service it was even better that going to the restaurant. Good entertainment and shows for the kids.

No many food options at the buffet near the beach. One of the rooms rented for the family smelled moldy all the time, the toilets were uncomfortable and too tall, way too much algae at the beach. Service at the dinner restaurants was not good enough and specially the last day we stayed because all restaurants were closed and only one restaurant was open for all the people that was there, it was a two hour disaster and we ended not eating at all there. The photo service with the hotel, not only super expensive but the pictures were not well taken. Prices start $300 dollars for 15 pictures only and goes on and on. The kids area is so small.

Good and fun but on a diet. I don’t like to be on a diet when I’m on vacation

The property was nice and cleaned . The workers were awesome, Above and beyond.

The food was bad. Plenty of foods but tasteless. Everything was bland. Nothing we ate had taste. Please train the chefs please. Even my 9 year old complaint about the food. Once she said “those people don’t know what called spice.” Was there for 5 days but bearely eat anything. That’s the only reason I won’t go back, because when I’m on vacation I love to eat.

Everything. Excellent staff, Exceptional food great drinks. Clean well kept rooms. One of my best all inclusive experiences.

The beach could have been nicer, but that's about it. And a little light on the activity/entertainment side.

Great location, ample activities, mediocre food.

Beautiful location. Our room was spacious for the four of us and had everything that we needed. There were plenty of activities offered to fill the time if we had nothing scheduled.

Making the reservation through booking.com was our biggest mistake- there was no answer when I called to change my booking, and no response to email. This ended up costing us a significant amount more than what we should have had to pay. I described the food as "the okayest food ever". The only decent meal we had was at the Japanese restaurant. We are not picky eaters but no one in our group was able to find anything on the buffets that was even remotely good.

A relaxing and beautiful getaway

We loved our stay at the Majestic Elegance, particularly because the staff were so careful to ensure we were having a good time. From 24 hour room service, to butler service with a direct line of communication via WhatsApp, we always felt our questions were answered.

The rooms required a key card to enter, and it was less than ideal as we had to carry the keycard around at all times and our room card receiver required many tries before gaining access. We also found the food to sometimes be overly salty (the soups particularly), and the drinks very sugary, but were pleasantly surprised by the dining options overall. There were always bars available to make drinks near all the pools and beaches.

Beautiful resort and nice staff but struggle with management/check-in.

Location, rooms, restaurants, pool, and staff were all amazing!

Check-in was horrible! We were traveling with a group of 12 including children. We had made requests in advance for extra beds and rooms near each other. We got the rooms moved around after 45 min waiting at check-in. Then we got to our room and the keys wouldn’t work. It took 5 hours to get into our room! To make matters worse, we had to physically move one of the extra beds to another room in a different tower. Literally us in the elevator and pushing it down the hall. For all of our inconvenience we were offered 2 25 min massages. Once again, group of 12 traveling but only compensated 2 of us! Corporate would not do anything beyond the 2 massages!

3rd time at this resort .. love it!! It's a little dated but a beautiful property. Manuel & Sandra at the main bar are great. Ismael at the pool bar served up great drinks! Michelangelo at 9 Doors is the best!!

The rooms are musty and could use some updating.

Wonderful

I liked almost all. The staff is very kind. The food is better than other resorts in Punta Cana. The beach is good, always clean.

The property is a little old, specially the rooms. The lights of my bathroom and shower did not work. The place requires an upgrade. But overall is one of the best if compared to other resorts Ive been in the same area of Bavaro. I will come back for sure.

The property was beautiful, very clean and the staff really friendly, the bartenders in the pool, Maxima and Santa were awesome.

Extreme heat in rooms

I liked the customer service that their employees have with customers. The different restaurants with very good variety. The rooms are very comfortable. Everything outside was beautiful.

The air conditioning in all the facilities did not work at its capacity. This included the rooms, and the restaurants, which looked and feel like saunas, during the day or night. This situation was sooo uncomfortable. Everyone was sweating at all times. I spoke with employees and with a manager in one of the restaurants and they told me that was like that always. This situation made me decide not to return to this hotel. Management has to repair the whole air conditioning system throughout the hotel.
